About Us
‘Formation in Community for Mission’
St Padarn’s is the training arm of the Church in Wales, but as our mission statement states we offer much more than training for ministry. Our focus is on learning and formation but we also focus on:
Discipleship
We nurture Discipleship through our development work with Children Youth and Families and Pioneer Ministry, creating key networks of people in order to train specialists in both fields. The result of which is encouraging new and different ways of doing / experiencing Church.
We also produce resources for communities, families and bible groups such as Jesus Shaped Life and Living and Learning. If you wish to explore Theology and deepen your faith you may also study Theology for Life .
Formation for Licensed Ministry, NLM training and Ministerial Development
If you are training for Ministry after going through the discernment process, you will start your training through studying the BTh for Discipleship, Ministry and Mission (Theology for Life) and experience all aspects of learning, worship, community and spiritual development.
Once ordained as a minister you will be able to access further training through our NLM training programme.
Once an experienced minister you will access further personal development training through Ministerial Development programme that encourages personal learning as well as spiritual development.
