Reading out information on the candidate at a baptism

I invite parents to write a brief paragraph about their child based on their personality. Very often parents add significant details about how their lives, and developing sibling relationships, have been changed by the arrival of this child into their family.

Either I read it, or the parent reads it if they are comfortable. It’s a really powerful way of personalising the baptism for everybody.
